We are pleased to announce that New York University Abu Dhabi will host the 2024 edition of the Asian School in Economic Theory (formally known as the Summer School of Econometric Society) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Due to the extreme summer weather in the UAE, the event will be held from January 6-10, 2025, to take advantage of Abu Dhabi’s beautiful winter weather.
The lecturers are In-Koo Cho (Emory University), Vijay Krishna (Penn State University), Antonio Penta (Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Barcelona School of Economics), Ariel Rubinstein (Tel Aviv University and New York University), Arunava Sen (Indian Statistical Institute) and Michael Woodford (Columbia University). In addition to faculty lectures, selected students will have the opportunity to present their own research. Local accommodation and meals (breakfast and lunch) will be provided by the summer school.
Interested students can apply at https://www.zvulunylab.com/esSummer2024 between May 1 and June 30, 2024. Information about scholarships and registration will become available around the same time when the admission decision is made. Applicants must be a member of the Econometric Society.
