THE 2020 LATIN AMERICAN WORKSHOP IN ECONOMIC THEORY of the Econometric Society will be held in Santiago-Chile, on May 12-13, 2020 at the Universidad de Chile. The theme of the workshop is information design, information transmission, and experimentation.The keynote speakers will be Jeff Ely (Northwestern) and Joel Sobel (UC San Diego).

This workshop is a forum to discuss new questions and recent developments in economic theory with a particular emphasis on information design, information transmission, and experimentation. However, submissions in all topics in economic theory are welcome. The workshop will feature  7-9 contributed sessions

Each person may submit only one paper and only present one paper. However, each person is allowed to be the co-author of several papers submitted to the conference. At least one co-author must be a member of the Society or must join prior to the workshop. You may join the Econometric Society at http://www.econometricsociety.org.

We also have some limited funds from Econometric Society and the Institute for Research in Market Imperfections and Public Policy MIPP (www.mipp.cl) to finance travel and hotel expenses for young economists.

The following information should also be provided at the time of submission: the authors' names, affiliations, email addresses and web sites (if any) of the submitters, and the paper title.
