The 2016 Latin American and Caribbean Economics Association (LACEA) and the Latin American Meetings of the Econometric Society (LAMES) Annual Meetings will take place in the beautiful and historic Medellin, Colombia from November 10-12, 2016.  The meetings will be hosted by Universidad EAFIT and the Colombian Central Bank (Banco de la República de Colombia) and will take place at the Universidad EAFIT campus.

By registering for the LACEA–LAMES 2016 annual meetings, participants will be welcome to attend all sessions.

Please note that authors may only present one paper to each association. Each person however may be co-author of several papers presented. In order to submit a paper for LAMES you must be an active member of the Econometric Society. Likewise, in order to submit a paper to LACEA you must be an active member of LACEA.

Papers can only be submitted electronically through the LACEA-LAMES ExOrdo System, https://lacealames2016.exordo.com . All papers, including their abstracts, must be written in English and submitted electronically in a single PDF file with a maximum size of 5MB. No other format will be accepted.

Program Committee, conference program, venue, registration, accommodation, social events and technical conference support will be made available through the conference’s website http://www.lacealames.com/ .

Submissions will be accepted until May 31, 2016 and decision notifications are expected to be sent by August 15, 2016.
