ANNOUNCEMENT: We are delighted to announce that before the conference, there will be workshop on computational economics with Python and Julia, based on the lectures written by Tom Sargent and John Stachurski (see http://quant-econ.net/).  Participants in the workshop must register for the conference.

The 2016 North American Meeting of the Econometric Society (ES NASM 2016) will take place in Philadelphia PA, June 16 to 19, 2016. The Meeting is hosted by the Wharton School and the Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania.  The conference website is http://sites.sas.upenn.edu/nasm-2016.

In addition to submitted papers, there will be three named lectures, and nine semi-plenary sessions.  The named lectures are:

The Program Chairs are Ulrich Doraszelski and George Mailath, both of the University of Pennsylvania.

Submissions will be open from November 15, 2015. The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2016. Papers can only be submitted electronically through conference maker at: http://editorialexpress.com/conference/NASM2016. At least one of the authors must be a member of the Econometric Society, and all participants must register for the conference. You may join the Society at http://www.econometricsociety.org​. Each person may submit only one paper and present only one paper. However, each person is allowed to be the co-author of several papers submitted to the conference.
